A quick guide for getting started with Affiliatable
Amazon API “Invalid API key” – Frequent causes
API stands for Application Programming Interface and we use it to connect with Amazon to fetch the product details. Without a working API key that you generate from your Amazon account, our tool cannot connect to Amazon’s servers.
- You should have made 3 qualified sales in the last 30 days, else Amazon will suspend the PA API function. However, you can activate the API after making 3 qualified sales.
- If you just created the API, you will have to wait for about 72 hours (maximum) to get the API approved by Amazon.
- Make sure you give the right “Tracking ID”.
- If you try to fetch many products via API at the same time, you may get this error or sometimes the product details will not be fetched. In that case, Please wait for some hours and see if the problem remains.
Classic Editor Plugin “Alignment” – Frequent causes
The Classic Editor plugin usually adds the <p> tag inside the tables which cause the alignment issues. So, you will have to add the below custom script in your function.php file to avoid the alignment issues.
remove_filter( 'the_content', 'wpautop' ); remove_filter( 'the_excerpt', 'wpautop' );
